The University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Collat School of Business has been selected as one of 40 schools nationwide with top human resource management programs.
In College Choice’s 40 Best Bachelor’s in Human Resources Degrees College rankings, UAB ranks 15th for its degree in Human Resource Management, which was recently announced as a new addition to the Collat School of Business curricula.
UAB’s program offers the flexibility of online or on-campus classes. The curriculum for the program includes courses dealing with business, law, economics and human resources to provide a balanced education to students. Students also gain hands-on experience through an internship course before obtaining their degree.
The structure of the program is crafted so that students obtain certification from the Society for Human Resource Management, the pre-eminent professional organization for HR professionals.
