Healthy women needed to study why some people are at higher risk for heart disease and diabetes
Must be ages 19-70, do not have diabetes, exercise less than 2 hours per week, and are willing to travel to UAB for screening and 2 testing visits.

Participants needed for REDUCE-IT study
Are you taking a statin (such as Lipitor or Crestor) and ages 50 or older? Do you have a history of heart disease OR diabetes and/or other cardiovascular risk factors?

Are you a female age 19 or older with chronic chest discomfort or cardiovascular disease?
You could be eligible to join a UAB research study that will provide a medication for angina (chest discomfort).
