Researchers are trying to find a dose that is safe to use and also figure out the amount of time it takes to safely lower the level of virus in the blood. Volunteers will receive either study drug or placebo (inactive medication like a sugar pill). Depending on which group you are in, you will be in the study about 2-6 weeks. Compensated up to $390. 996-4398. If the following statements about you are TRUE, this study may be for you: You are age 19-65; you have been diagnosed with Hepatitis C virus infection, but have never been treated; you are HIV negative; if you are a woman, you are not currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
