Tour India through dance when ArtPlay presents The Bollywood Experience with Parul Kapoor, Nov. 12, 2011, during the Alys Stephens Center’s World on Stage Festival.
Back by popular demand, local dancer Parul Kapoor and friends will demonstrate the cultures of various regions of India through dance. From classical Indian dance inspired by ancient texts, to modern dance as seen in the Bollywood films of today, this show is enhanced by traditional costumes and great music. This family-friendly show is presented by ArtPlay, the arts and education outreach home for UAB’s Alys Stephens Center.
