UAB Discussion Book Dialogue series on autism will continue March 15

“Special Equestrians, Special People” is the next free lecture in UAB’s Discussion Book Dialogues series, focusing on autism.

grandinbookDorrie Fuchs, assistant director of Special Equestrians Inc., will present a lecture, “Special Equestrians, Special People,” as part of UAB’s Discussion Book Dialogues for the 2011-12 selection, “Thinking in Pictures: My Life with Autism,” by Temple Grandin.

The lecture, which is free and open to the public, will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. March 15, 2012, in Heritage Hall Room 549, 1401 University Blvd.

Discussion Book Dialogues are held every third Thursday of the month through April 2012. The goal of the dialogues is to provide information to help people make more informed decisions about relevant issues. Snacks are provided.
