The University of Alabama System Board of Trustees appointed David G. Warnock, M.D., as the initial holder of the Hilda B. Anderson Endowed Chair in Nephrology in the Department of Medicine in the UAB School of Medicine during its meeting April 8, 2011. Warnock earned his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco, and joined the UAB faculty in 1988.
