Taking Birmingham to Asia and Africa, Birmingham Sister Cities summer exchange trips lauded by officials

Earlier this summer, the first group to travel, ten University of Alabama at Birmingham students and two instructors conducted their exchange from May 29th to June 18th. The delegation spent the first half of the trip in Hitachi, Birmingham's first sister city established in 1982.
