Beaufort County road myths: Are older or younger drivers more dangerous?

The claim is that older drivers are worse drivers and therefore cause the most fatal wrecks. And with nearly 25 percent of the county's 172,000 residents older than 65, it figures that the older age bracket is responsible for more fatal crashes.
