Women needed for exercise study

The 16-week program consists of bike riding and treadmill walking, as well as four overnight stays.

Caucasian and African-American women, ages 21-40, are needed to participate in an exercise intensity study conducted by the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Departments of Human Studies and Nutrition Sciences.

The 16-week program consists of bike riding and treadmill walking, as well as four overnight stays. Participants may improve fitness level and receive information about their daily caloric expenditure, bone density and body composition. Compensation may be offered.
