Dale Turnbough Associate Vice President of Public Relations and Marketing (205) 934-9430

Turnbough has an early background in print journalism and has been in higher education public relations since 1980, joining UAB in 1994 to lead the media relations group. Now associate vice president of the Office of Public Relations and Marketing, she is charged with management oversight for media relations, marketing, web communications, internal communications, periodicals and public radio station WBHM. Turnbough has served on the board for the Southeastern Region of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) and is active in the Higher Education Roundtable, a national group of senior executives leading education outreach and public relations initiatives. |

Storr began his career in broadcast journalism and spent four years working for WVTM NBC 13 in the late 1990s. After winning multiple Emmy Awards during his 12-year stint in TV, Storr was asked to build the communications department of non-profit i-SAFE Inc. In 2006, he took over media and community relations for The Salvation Army of Massachusetts. He has a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Southern Mississippi. After more than a decade away, Storr lives in Birmingham with his wonderful wife, fabulous daughter and barking dog.

She also has published her own magazine and hosted a popular radio talk show. The Stillman College alumna is a self-described foodie and reality TV junkie. She’s married and has two toddlers who hide her eyeglasses and Blackberry for fun.

While raising her three children she was a freelance writer for a women’s health magazine and a PR consultant for national clients. Beena’s professional roots started in Connecticut where she worked as a reporter at news organizations throughout the state. She has a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Connecticut. In her very little spare time, she likes to run and travel.
