Students at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) will be recognized at the annual Honors Convocation, set for 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013.
Students who have won prestigious national honors, including fellowships and scholarships, university school awards and student service awards will be recognized by the dean of their school and UAB President Ray L. Watts. Approximately 130 students will be receiving recognition. Friends, family and the public are welcome. The event will be held in the Jemison Concert Hall at UAB’s Alys Stephens Center, 1200 10th Ave. S.
