Birmingham-area women can learn to find a healthy balance between work and home during a conference hosted by UAB. The 2011 Women’s Conference is 9 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. March 30, 2011, in the UAB Hill University Center Great Hall, 1400 University Blvd. It is sponsored by the Birmingham Area Consortium of Higher Education.

Workshops will address nutrition, rights in the workplace, stress management, the woes of mothering in a career-driven society, leadership and more. The keynote speaker is Stephanie Rauterkaus, Ph.D., assistant professor of finance in the UAB School of Business and founder of the popular personal finance blog “365 Days on a Budget.”
