Aberystwyth University in Wales partners with UAB to create an opportunity for students to learn more about the historic partnership and Wales’ culture.
The UAB Department of Music will present student, faculty and guest artist recitals, the third annual PRISM concert March 30, and for the first time, student winners of the Concerto/Aria Competition in concert with the Alabama Symphony Orchestra.
A community call-and-response libation to honor those who died by lynching will be at 5 p.m. Feb. 6, followed by a lecture from artist LaShawnda Crowe Storm.
