The University of Alabama System Board of Trustees appointed Ken Marion, Ph.D., professor emeritus of biology in the UAB College of Arts and Sciences during its meeting Nov. 3, 2011.
Marion is a fellow of the Alabama Academy of Science and a winner of the UAB Odessa Woolfolk Community Service Award in 2005. He joined UAB in 1971.
