Fine named professor emeritus in the Department of Medicine

Former director of the UAB Injury Control Research Center named to emeritus position.

The University of Alabama System Board of Trustees appointed Russel Fine, Ph.D., MSPH, professor emeritus in the Department of Medicine during its meeting June 15, 2012. Fine joined the UAB faculty in 1975 and directed the Injury Control Research Center, the Southern Consortium for Injury Biomechanics and the University Transportation Center.
