Pryor receives 2014 President’s Award for Excellence in Teaching

Erica Pryor, Ph.D., associate professor in the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Nursing has been awarded the 2014 UAB President’s Award for Excellence in Teaching.

Pryor was recognized during the 2014 Faculty Awards Convocation held at The UAB National Alumni Society House.

Pryor earned her master’s in community health nursing from UAB and her doctorate from Emory University. She holds appointments in the UAB Center for Outcomes Effectiveness Research and Education and in the UAB Center for Emerging Infections and Emergency Preparedness. Pryor teaches several graduate level courses on statistics and epidemiology, and she guest lectures on topics related to infectious disease epidemiology.
