UAB has arranged for MetLife to offer eligible employees the opportunity to apply for or increase coverage of Group Voluntary Life during a special enrollment period April 4–22.

The process has been simplified, and few or no health questions will be asked; your application is subject to review and approval by MetLife. Spouse/child coverage also is available; premiums are paid through payroll deduction. Approved coverage will be effective June 1.

An announcement postcard and enrollment packet with more information will be mailed to your home address over the next couple of weeks.
