Request Publicity for GreenMail

Make your request for publicity here!

UAB works with students, faculty and staff to share news and information for students in a variety of ways. Your submission will be distributed to editors and content managers for GreenMail and student-directed media such as Kaleidoscope, BlazeRadio and Inside UAB.

Please note that only announcements submitted by UAB departments or Student Life programs will be considered for publication in GreenMail. Due to the volume of submissions received, you will not receive a response unless there is a problem with your request. GreenMail publishes each Wednesday during the academic year except for holiday periods, and every other Wednesday during the summer. Deadline for submissions is 10 a.m. on Tuesdays.

And, use of this information is at the discretion of the respective staffs. That means some submissions may not be used at all.

Remember, the more advance notice we have about your publicity needs, the better able we are to promote your events and get your news to students. If you wait until the last minute, you may miss the media deadlines. Sooner is always better.

For events, assume that at least two weeks of notice is needed.
