Birmingham-based American Cast Iron Pipe Company (ACIPCO) has donated $20,000 to the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center Fund for Excellence, which supports high-priority areas of research and patient care. During the past 30 years, ACIPCO and its employees have donated more than $520,000 to the cancer center.
“Community support is critical to our success,” said cancer center Director Edward Partridge, M.D. “The cancer center is proud to have such a loyal and dedicated partner in the American Cast Iron Pipe Company, and we look forward to continuing to work with them in the fight against cancer.”
