The University of Alabama System Board of Trustees approved the renaming of the Division of Nuclear Medicine in the Department of Radiology to the Division of Molecular Imaging and Therapeutics during its meeting on Nov. 2, 2012. The change reflects the evolving mission of the division. Janis P. O’Malley, M.D., will serve as the director of the division.
The Division of Nuclear Medicine is now the Division Molecular Imaging and Therapeutics.
