The University of Alabama System Board of Trustees approved the establishment of the Dora and Sanjay Singh Endowed Research Fund in Information Systems during its meeting June 14, 2013. The fund will benefit research in the University of Alabama at Birmingham Collat School of Business Department of Management, Information Systems and Quantitative Methods. Sanjay Singh, Ph.D., was an associate professor of business, and Dora Singh is a pharmacist at UAB Hospital. In 2011, Sanjay Singh received the Honorary Alumni Award through the Alumni Leadership Recognition Awards.
