Trustees name emeriti faculty

The University of Alabama System Board of Trustees appointed several faculty to emeriti positions during its Feb 3 meeting.

Powers was named an associate professor emeritus in business.

The university will host the inaugural UAB Sustainable Smart Cities Symposium Feb. 16.

UAB accounting students will again partner with the United Way to offer free tax preparation services.
