State’s leading attorneys to meet at UAB

UAB leaders will speak to the state bar associations potential leaders.

The University of Alabama at Birmingham will host the Alabama State Bar Association Leadership Forum Class 8 March 29, 2012.

The class comprises 30 of Alabama’s newest generation of leading attorneys. The March session is one of five held throughout the year across the state. Participants receive mentorship and opportunities to meet prominent legal, community and state leaders and get a deeper understanding of the world in which they live and practice law.

Several leaders from the UAB community will address the group, including Carol Garrison, Ph.D., president; Garrick McGee, head football coach; Ray Watts, M.D., senior vice president and dean of the UAB School of Medicine and others.
