The University of Alabama at Birmingham will mark Veterans Day, Monday, Nov. 11, with its second annual wreath-laying ceremony at 1 p.m. on the Campus Green.
UAB Student Health and Wellness Executive Director M. Jacob Baggott, U.S. Army, retired, will welcome guests and deliver opening remarks. Posting of the Colors will be conducted by the ROTC, UAB and the 313th Army Reserve Show Band. Closing remarks will come from Walter C. Stewart III, who is retired from the U.S. Army and coordinates veterans services and recruitment for UAB.
