The sixth annual Mutt Strut will be held Saturday, April 18, on the UAB Campus Green, located at 1505 10th Ave. South.
The Mutt Strut is a 5K run/walk organized by Hand in Paw, a Birmingham-based nonprofit organization that uses animal-assisted therapy to improve the health and well-being of children and adults throughout central Alabama. Hand in Paw’s 150 volunteers serve thosewith physical, emotional, educational or psychological needs through interactions with professionally trained animal-assisted therapy teams.
This family- and animal-friendly event includes a 1-mile walk, dog-agility activities and booths with local vendors.
