Lecture at UAB to discuss maternal and child health post-election

Policy and government affairs director set to speak at UAB on changes coming to maternal and child health policy upon Donald Trump’s presidency.

Ewig, director of Policy and Government Affairs for the Association of Maternal and Child Health Programs in Washington, D.C., is set to speak at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Public Health Ann Dial McMillan Endowed Lectureship. Ewig will discuss the 2016 election results in regard to the future of maternal and child health policy at the UAB Hill Student Center on Feb. 9 at 11 a.m.

The UAB Deep South Center for Occupational Health and Safety, Alabama Maternal and Child Health Leadership Network, and National Board of Public Health Examiners will each award 1.0 contact hour for the lecture.
