The speaker lineup includes:

  • Aja Brown – Mayor, City of Compton, Calif.
  • Ed Catmull – President of Pixar and Disney Animation Studios
  • Cmdr. Rorke Denver – Navy SEAL commander and author
  • Rudy Giuliani – 107th mayor of New York City (1993-2001)
  • Seth Godin – Best-selling author
  • Bill McDermott – CEO, SAP AG
  • Bill and Giuliana Rancic – Award-winning personalities and co-hosts of Leadercast
  • Andy Stanley – Leadership author and communicator
  • Malala Yousafzai – Nobel Laureate; founder, The Malala Fund, and others

Last year, more than 130,000 leaders from 35 countries attended Leadercast. Now, in its 16th year, this full-day, experiential conference is on track to reach its largest audience to date.

“It is one of the single-most-consolidated sources of leadership education I’m aware of that is available to the public,” said Dale Callahan, director of UAB’s Information Engineering Management master’s degree program. “I think this conference, although very focused on leadership in the professional setting, really shows you how to lead in all aspects of life.”

UAB’s live broadcast of Leadercast will be offered to participants through access on a computer, tablet or mobile phone, at any location. The event will begin at 8 a.m. and conclude at 3:30 p.m. Throughout the event, users will be able to pause, rewind and replay content.

Participants will also have 10-day access to the simulcast, from May 11 to May 20, to be able to revisit key messages and suggested access plans.

Registration is $100. For more information, or to register, visit UAB’s Leadercast website
