The University of Alabama System Board of Trustees approved the Master of Science (M.S.) degree program in the UAB College of Arts and Sciences at its Feb. 4, 2011 meeting. The board gave initial approval in June 2010 and the Alabama Commission on Higher Education approved the addition in December.
