Description: Camp SHINE is a joint venture between UAB Pediatrics and Children’s of Alabama. Our goal is to address the nutritional, activity and emotional needs of overweight kids in a fun, supportive environment. This overnight camp teaches healthy eating habits through cooking and provides opportunities for activities such as swimming, canoeing, hiking and much more.

Cost and registration: The cost is discounted to $600 for UAB and COA employees; $650 for non-employees. A $100 deposit is due by April 15 to reserve your spot; balance is due May 15.
