2014 Ada Long Creative Writing Workshop

creative writingIn this true author’s workshop, writers of all interests and backgrounds will come together in an academic setting, sharing ideas, insights and experiences to develop their craft. This nonresidential day-camp is designed for high school students interested in creative writing for personal enrichment, as preparation for university work and as an introduction to creative writing as a career field. Instructional activities include directed writing exercises, small group discussion of the students’ work, individual conferences with instructors, readings, presentations and field trips. The cost is $800 without college credit, $1,290 with college credit. Financial aid is available. Lunch, materials and field trip fees are included.
