Materials Camp at UAB; June 12-16

Students spend a week discovering the secrets of metals, ceramics, plastics and composites.
Materials Camp provides area high school students with an exciting opportunity to learn more about the field of materials science and engineering. Students spend a week discovering the secrets of metals, ceramics, plastics and composites. Materials Camp is a partnership between the UAB Department of Materials Science and Engineering and UAB CORD.


Ages: Rising 10th-, 11th- and 12th-grade students

Dates: June 12-16 from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.

Cost: $50 registration, limited number of scholarships available
