Raspberry Pi computer with imaging applications, 2018

Campers will learn the components of Raspberry Pi, basic Python programming and building imaging applications, which includes scaling and flipping images, varying brightness of images, blurring and sharpening images, thresholding, and detecting edges in images. A complete Raspberry Pi-based video tutorial will be provided, and all connections with programming steps will be explained. Campers will be trained with hands-on examples: real-time human face/eyes/nose detection, detecting cars in video, real-time object detection, and human face recognition. This camp is an introductory course, so no prior experience in programming is required.
