Biography
Brenda W. Iddins is an advanced practice nurse licensed in Alabama and Tennessee. Since 1995 ANCC certified as a family nurse practitioner and employed in both urban and rural primary care, family practice settings. Prior to 1995 she was ANCC certified as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) in Medical-Surgical Nursing. Mrs. Iddins is co-founder and chairperson of the Central Alabama Nurse Practitioner Association (CANPA). Her service includes various committees and offices held in both state and national organizations: Chairperson, ANCC Test Development Committee Med-Surg CNS, 1993-1994; President, District #3 Alabama State Nurse's Association 1997-1998; 1999-2000 and NCLEX item writer, 1992.
