Director of Strategic Marketing and Communications and Instructor
Kim Davey serves as the Director of Strategic Marketing and Communication in the Dean’s office and is an Instructor in the Nursing and Health Systems Management track. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing, B.A. in Spanish, and an M.B.A. from Samford University, and a M.A. in Diplomacy and International Relations with concentrations in International Economics and Global Negotiations and Conflict Management from the John C. Whitehead School of Diplomacy and International Relations at Seton Hall University. Currently, she is completing her Ph.D. in Administration-Health Services at the UAB School of Health Professions. Her academic interests center around the strategic adaptation of health care organizations and systems to macro environmental forces, particularly those relating to health care workforce shortages, performance improvement demands, and globalization of health care.
