UAB School of Nursing Students:

We have all experienced an unprecedented disaster in our communities and state. UAB School of Nursing faculty and staff are aware of the many power outages, losses, and damage associated with the horrific storms. We are very concerned about your well-being. If you have not already done so, notify your course faculty that you are safe and not experiencing hardship as soon as possible. If you are aware of fellow students that may be in distress please notify your course faculty.

If you are a UAB School of Nursing student in need of assistance please contact the Office of Student Affairs at 205-996-7130.

UAB School of Nursing Relief Efforts

Donate to the Emergency Fund for Student Success, which meets urgent and unforeseen short-term financial needs of students.  This fund is available for students who have been affected by the recent tornados.

The UAB School of Nursing Student Nursing Association (SNA) collected needed supplies for storm victims. Supplies were dropped off in the bins at the School of Nursing and included: bottled water, diapers, wipes, formula, pillows, blankets, and basic hygiene items.  These items were then taken to the American Red Cross and other relief agencies across the city and state.
