UAB SON in Brazil

On November 7-8, 2013, the University of Sao Paulo in Ribeirao Preto, Brazil celebrated its 25th anniversary as a PAHO/WHO Collaborating Center on International Nursing.  Former chairs of the Pan American and Global Networks of Nursing and Midwifery Collaborating Centers were invited to Brazil and participated in a panel presentation describing the evolution and future of the network of these collaborating centers.  Dr. Lynda Wilson, Deputy Director of the UAB PAHO/WHO Collaborating Center on International Nursing, and co-chair of the Pan American network from 2010-2012, participated in the event.
