UAB School of Nursing Gets $1.4M to Craft Practice Model, Expand Free Care

The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Nursing has received a three-year, $1.4-million grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to develop and implement an innovative interprofessional collaborative health-care practice model that improves quality of care and outcomes for underserved patients with diabetes and other chronic conditions.
