What is the request to hire form?
The Request to Hire form is a SON form that is required in order to approve the hire of any individual within the SON.
The Personnel Generalist uses this form to generate a hire letter that is issued by the Dean of the School. The letter is submitted to the Dean along with the Request to Hire form, candidate’s application, and position posting announcement for review and approval. Once the Dean has reviewed and approved the hire letter it is sent to the candidate for acceptance. The Dean is the only individual allowed to extend job offers.
