Promoting Reflective Learning of Students Using Human Patient Simulators, Principal Investigator, Joan Grant DSN, RN

The purpose of this project is to evaluate the effectiveness of videotape facilitated guidance (i.e., integrating cueing, questioning, debriefing, and reflection) as an instructional tool on clinical performance indicators after student interaction with a human patient simulator. Clinical performance indicators in this project are patient safety, communication among team members, problem-focused assessment, prioritization of care, appropriate interventions, and delegation to healthcare team
members.
