Teaching –

OPT 234 Professional and Clinical Communications - Communication skills are essential to be successful in Optometry. This course helps to increase the understanding of professional communication, communication problems and their solutions, and increase awareness and skills for excellent professional communication.

CLN 230, 240, 310, 320,330,340,410,420 Clinic Rotations - Supervise second, third, and fourth year interns during routine patient care in the primary care clinic and several community health centers.

OPT 241 Introduction to Clinic – The goal of this course is to help interns begin to integrate all skills and information learned in CEVS, CEC, Primary Care Clinic rotations, and Ocular Pharmacology in order to make basic clinical decisions on a patient.

Research –

Clinical research in the areas of myopia development, foveal sensitivity in glaucoma, and progression of keratoconus.
