Our nationally recognized faculty are experts in the fitting of contact lenses, and don’t mind taking the time to fit your eyes correctly. They can also determine if you would benefit from refractive surgery.
If you are currently wearing contact lenses, your present prescription will be evaluated to see if it is correct for you. If you have not worn contacts, a trial lens will be provided (or maybe several) and tried until we find the type/style that works for you. We will also teach how to put the contacts in and take them out, and how to care for them.
The Cornea and Contact Lens Service has hard lenses, soft lenses, toric lenses, hybrid lenses, and others. We utilize lenses manufactured by CIBA, Bausch and Lomb, Coopervision, Vistakon, and AMO to name a few. The goal is to find the contact lens that you can wear comfortably, and give you the best vision possible!
Contact Lens Orders: Our clinic coordinator will be happy to explain the ordering and delivery procedures for our contact lens patients.
