Beginning Monday, January 23, 2012, 7th Avenue South will be closed to thru traffic and on-street parking between University Boulevard and 7^thAvenue South. Access to Parking Lot 5A will be via a newly provided entry point immediately off University onto 15^th Street South. Exit point from Lot 5A will be on the eastern side of the lot on to 16^th Street South.

Construction activity on the Steam project is scheduled to begin Wednesday, May 16, 2012 on 6^thAvenue South between 18^th and 19^thStreets South. During this time, 6^thAvenue South between 19^th and 20^th Streets will be closed to thru traffic. Local traffic will be allowed to enter from 18^th Street South for patient drop-off at the Russell Building and North Pavilion. 

Construction activity on the Steam project is scheduled to begin Monday, June 4, 2012 on 19^th Street South between 6^th and 7^th Avenue South. During this time, 19^th Street South between 6^th and 7^th Avenue will be closed to thru traffic. Local traffic will be allowed to enter 6^th Avenue South for patient drop-off at Spain-Wallace and Jefferson Tower. 

Beginning Monday, July 9, 2012, 6^th Avenue South between 13^th and 14^th Streets South will be closed to thru traffic.

Beginning Monday, June 25, 2012, 8^th Court South between 20^th and 21^st Streets South will be closed to thru traffic.

Beginning Monday, June 25, 2012, 16^th Street South between University Boulevard and 7^th Avenue will be closed to thru traffic. Entry to the Children's Hospital Parking Deck will remain open from 7^th Avenue South at 16^th Street South.

Effective March 29, 2012, access to the Smolian Parking Lot #34 and the loading dock area of Spain Rehab will only be accessible from the west on 7^th Ave. 7^th Ave between 16^th and 18^th St
will continue to be closed to thru traffic, accessible only to local traffic in the vicinity of Central Plant No. 1, the Lister Hill entry, Volker Hall loading dock, Lister Hill parking garage, and the School of Optometry parking areas. Entry/Exit of the School of Optometry and Lister Hill parking areas will only be from the western side.

Effective April 2, 2012, 7^th Avenue between 19^th and 20^th Streets South will be closed to thru traffic. Access to the School of Dentistry and the Kracke Building will be accessible only from 20^th Street.

Effective April 9, 2012, 9^th Avenue between 19^th and 20^th Streets South will be closed to thru traffic. The duration of the closing is yet to be determined.

Effective Monday, August 6, 2012 construction will begin on 19^th Street South between 5^th and 6^th Avenue South and 18^th Street South between 7^thAvenue South and University Boulevard. During this time,19^th Street South between 5^th and 6^th Avenue South and 18^th Street South between 7^th Avenue South and University Boulevard will be closed to thru traffic.
