Bike Borrow kicks off at Resident Housing
Housing residents can take advantage of a new program offered by Student Housing and Residential Life. The Bike Borrow program is a great way to move around campus. Several temporary student lots have opened on campus while construction takes place on various parking facilities. Last week, two lots opened on 14th Avenue South and 12th Street - directly behind UAB Highlands. UAB Escort will pick up and deliver from these lots after 5 p.m.Temporary Student Lots Opened
Two temporary student lots were available on Tuesday, 09/08/09. These two lots are part of the UAB Highlands parking system. Both are located at 14th Avenue South and 12th Street - just a short distance from campus.
18th Street Block Repaving Set
Beginning September 8th, the 18th Street South block between 5th and 6th Avenue will be milled and repaved. The work will take place from 6 p.m. - 6 a.m., beginning September 10th and ending September 15th. For a map of the location, click here.
BEC Sees Changes to Parking
Business and Engineering students will soon have better parking in and around the Business and Engineering complex. The University is redesigning Lot 15F to maximize the area. The project will be completed in two phases.
