Erik Angner joined the philosophy faculty at UAB
in August 2005. Before coming to UAB he was a student at the University of Pittsburgh, where he received two Ph.D.s: one in History and Philosophy of Science and one in Economics. At UAB, he divides his time between the Department of Philosophy and the Department of Finance, Economics and Quantitative Methods.

Dr Angner's work appears in publications such as Studies in History of Philosophy of Science, Economics and Philosophy, Theoria, The Journal of Economic Thought, and elsewhere. His most recent publicaiton is on the historical origins of the thought of economist and political philosopher Friedrich A. Hayek, Hayek and Natural Law (Routledge, 2007). |
