The PHTS Data Collection and Analyses Center is currently housed at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in the Department of Surgery, Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery. The DCC is responsible for:

     • Receiving data from 43 participating centers throughout the US, Canada and the UK
     • Insuring timeliness and accuracy of submitted data
     • Providing support for the PHTS committees
     • Under the direction of the PHTS Scientific Committee, analyzing data 
       and participating in abstract and manuscript submission
     • Organizing Spring and Fall meeting in conjunction with ISHLT and AHA
