The goal of this study is to understand  the complex system of blood glucose regulation, and to apply the knowledge to form better clinical diagnoses and management schemes.
Approach:

  • Mathematical formulation and investigation of blood  glucose/insulin dynamics
  • Test model predictions using clinical and animal model data
  • Carry out new clinical studies for model application
