This Website is designed to offer some information about your UAB Police Department, to provide the public with information concerning our operations, to prove compliance with those certifying agencies that have given us mandates to meet as a part of either federal, state, or local laws, as well as those agencies that provide professional certification or accreditation to our agency.

We are proud of our agency and our status as an Accredited Law Enforcement Agency under the auspices of the Commission for Accreditation of Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA). We are one of only 6 Accredited agencies in Alabama and one of only 550 nationally, out of over 16,000 public law enforcement agencies in the United States.
