UAB Escort Service is an after-dark service provided upon request to UAB students and employees on the UAB campus. You may reach the UAB Escort Service by calling 934-8772 from your office or cell phone. If these phones are not available, call UAB Police at 934-4434, or you may use a HELP Phone to request an escort. A UAB escort will meet you at any on-campus location (including parking facilities) and accompany you to your on-campus destination either on foot or in a marked vehicle. *Designated white telephones are located in twelve classroom buildings for your convenience (see the chart below). |
Van Escorts provided by Parking and Transportation Services: Monday - Friday, 5:15 pm until 10:15 pm **Security Escorts provided by the UAB Police Department: Monday - Friday 10:15 pm until 6:00 am and Saturday and Sunday 5:15 PM until 6:00 AM. **All Police dispatched calls are taken in the order received, unless the priority dictates an emergency. Therefore, you may have to wait longer for Security Escorts. |
