A police detail may be required by university policy. Contact Captain John Fields (205) 934-3999 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. You may fax your request to 975-7297.
A ten (10) day advance notice is required for all detail requests. If the event is cancelled, it is the responsibility of the person who requested the detail to inform Captain Fields in a timely fashion, in order to avoid the assessment of costs.
Determinations of the need for and size of a police detail will be made by the Chief of Police or his designee in consultation with other university officials.
This is a request form only. Submitting a request does not guarantee approval or Police coverage.
