Policy Concerning the Re-Employment of UAB Retirees
When an employee retires from UAB, the employee/employer relationship between the employee and UAB is severed. On rare occasions, it may be in the best interest of UAB to allow the retiree to return to UAB's employ on a part-time basis.
Policy Concerning the Use of UAB Resources by External Entities
Use of UAB resources by external entities is allowed only if UAB's costs are recovered and if the stipulations of this policy are followed.
Protection of Children on UAB Premises

This policy sets forth UAB’s commitment to creating a secure environment for children and establishes principles by which all University representatives should guide their behavior when interacting with children and reporting suspicions of abuse or neglect.
Sick Time Donation Policy
Under certain circumstances, a UAB employee may voluntarily donate to another UAB employee, or receive from another employee, accrued sick time under a sick time donation plan as described in this policy.
